Job Description:

The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for the creation, analysis, and optimization of Game Taco’s tournament catalog. They will be instrumental to the success of the day-to-day operation of the business and a key resource for the broader Game Taco team. They will continuously leverage analytics to identify areas of opportunity to monetize users and play a crucial role in helping to achieve our business goals.

This position will fall in the Direct-to-Consumer Department and will serve as a partner in the development of promotions, tournaments, and campaigns to engage users across both the Consumer and FanDuel business.  They will become a master of the tools used to run the business and support others who use them. This person will possess excellent communication, project management, have a passion for data analytics and organization skills to effectively collaborate across departments and disciplines.

What you’ll do:

  • Create customer-facing content for a multi-million-dollar business both at Game Taco and Fan Duel.
  • Review and evaluate daily analytics to identify areas of opportunity for data-driven growth and make on-the-fly adjustments to increase engagement and monetization,
  • Assist leadership in analyzing results & taking action to further optimize performance of tournament programs.
  • Collaborate with CRM and Design teams to formulate targeted, segmented campaigns designed to monetize players via tournaments.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of cross-channel marketing communication strategy (email, push notification, in-app messaging, social media, etc.)
  • Become an expert on our customer behavior and life cycles, such as onboarding, engagement, monetization, retention and beyond.
  • Continuously develop new insights to inform decision-making and strategies for our user life cycle programming
  • Identify improvements and enhancement to our business and products and with UX Design, Product, and Engineering teams to design, build and implement those solutions
  • Support the Engineering, Development, and QA teams for game, product, and app launches

Desired Skills:

  • At least 3 years of experience in direct-to-consumer businesses, including but not limited to marketing, merchandising, customer retention, mobile gaming, or roles that are directly impactful to and responsible for driving revenue.
  • Experience working with data and reporting. Ability to conduct analyses and translate large amounts of data into digestible summaries with clear and actionable insights.
  • Ability to present and explain findings to a variety of audiences using presentations and data visualizations.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Product, Engineering, Design, and Customer service to complete daily tasks and long-term projects.
  • Proven track record in project management, ability to successfully own and execute a project from start to finish independently.
  • A passion for curiosity, innovation, collaboration, and play.
  • App and/or mobile game experience preferred.
